Why Choose Double Glazed Windows?
Although many homeowners opt for the more affordable single-glazed option for their windows and doors, they are simply not the best option for every home. From reducing stress to keeping your home warm in the winter, there are a number of reasons why double glazing is certainly worth the investment.
Reduce Your Energy Bills
Double-glazed windows are extremely effective at keeping the heat in – meaning you’ll be paying less for heating in the winter due to their energy-efficient nature. Our double glazed windows come with A++ energy efficiency rated as standard, helping you save money in the long term.
Make Your Home Safe and Secure
Our range of double-glazed windows comes with accredited security features, such as high-quality locks and key locking handles which help to create additional security from intruders.
Create a Warmer Home
With a combination of two Low E glass panes and inert gas, heat from your radiators and the sun can be easily reflected back into your home whilst preventing heat loss.
Bespoke for Your Needs
With our fantastic range of double glazed windows, you don’t have to sacrifice aesthetics for warmth. Available in a range of styles, aluminium, UPVC, timber, and sash, you can add the finishing touches with a wide range of colours, finishes, and window furniture.
Reduce Condensation
Because double glazed windows feature treated glass and an air-tight seal between each pane, they are superb at reducing your chances of having unsightly and inconvenient condensation form in your home.
Reduce Disruptive Noise
Double glazing can reduce outside noise by up to 60% compared to single glazing. From voices, animals, vehicles, and other sources, significant noise pollution within your home can contribute to stress, sleep and cognitive problems, and cardiovascular disease.
Double-glazed windows reduce noise by absorbing more sound energy due to the gap between the glass panes – reducing the effects of incoming sound waves from outside.

FAQs
Double-glazed windows comprise two panes of glass which have been separated with a spacer bar. In this gap, you will find inert gas which provides an excellent insulation barrier against external noise, and heat lost.
There is no reason why your new double-glazed windows can’t last for the lifetime of your property if they are well-maintained. Not all windows are created equally, as timber windows will require some maintenance to the paintwork to ensure they last as long as possible, and others may use poor quality seals which can perish within 10 years. Compared to double-glazing, single-glazed windows do not have any gas between the panes. This limits their energy efficiency and how well they keep warmth in a room.
Condensation is caused by temperature differences between the inside of your home and the outside of the window. The colder side will attract any available moisture in the atmosphere, and this can appear on both sides of your window. Installing brand-new double-glazed windows should solve the problem by reducing the exterior and interior temperature difference on the glass. The risk can be reduced even further by increasing air circulation in your home with a vent.
On average, each window can take anything from one hour to three hours to install. The time it takes to install each window will change depending on the size, the type, and the material.
