Types of UPVC Conservatory Roof Systems
The variations are almost limitless, because by combining the different roof designs together it is possible to create almost any shape or size, obviously subject to practicability & common sense.
Specifically the roofs available are lean-to, Edwardian, Victorian (3 or 5 segment bell), gable front, or orangery, but of course subject to structural integrity we can combine these roofs to form T shapes, P shapes, L shapes around corners & even Z shapes. If its structurally possible we can do it, we have the experience & the ability.
Roof glazing can be in multi-wall polycarbonate, either clear, bronze, opal or opal heatguard; or using double glazed glass sealed units, which can be self-cleaning & designed to give an overall āUā value of as low as 1.
All conservatory roofs have an integrated guttering system, & can be built with a box gutter to accommodate low level situations. Wherever possible, rainwater is diverted into existing underground drainage systems, or if desired into water butts (to save the planet) or to soakaways.
Roof vents are available & can either be manually operated by means of a pole, or have an electric motor with a heat & rain sensor.
All conservatory roofs are securely fixed to the existing structure & flashed with lead to prevent ingress of water.
